Ryan KARY, a suspect in a series of catalytic converter thefts at Sacramento International Airport, was apprehended by the Sacramento Sheriff Airport POP team on April 26, 2023, with the aid of detectives from the Major Crimes Bureau.
A search of KARY’s home uncovered a cache of stolen goods, including two catalytic converters, four stolen firearms, burglary tools, over 100 rounds of ammunition, and $3,159 in cash. KARY was taken into custody and charged with multiple felony counts.
Detectives suspect that KARY may be responsible for additional thefts that have yet to be reported, as they continue to investigate and identify victims associated with the recovered items.
